The other day as I walked out of work, I found a new CD on the seat of my car labeled "Bass mix for Toni." I smiled. I squealed. I danced on the inside. Someone loved me, and this someone happened to have found a way to gain access to my car.
I popped the CD into the CD player, turned up the volume, and enjoyed my drive home.
I have several CDs in my car that are simply put, amazing. Had it not been for the barely legible chicken scratch scrawled across the front instead of my big bubbly letters, I would've thought that I had burned them myself.
Nope. Surprisingly, my father has some very good taste in music. This leaves me with the occasional new CD filled with a mix of songs that I've been humming around the house for the past week combined with a selection of some that I've never heard of before, but love anyways.
Despite the fact that I know of my Dad's music listening habits, I'm always shocked by the number and types of amazing songs that I find on his Itunes account.
Tonight I burned 4 playlists.
They are titled as follows:
1 - Those songs that you maybe kinda sorta think belong in the background of a movie, but they aren't.. so you just settle with letting them be the background of your own epic life & Stuff
2 - This is What Sunshine Tastes like
3 - Songs so Epic, you'll think you OD'd on Charlie Sheen
4 - Stoplight Dance Parties
