Today has just been one of those days. You know the days where everyone decides to ditch school on the exact same day and leave you to eat lunch alone? The one where you text your best friend to hang out and he can't because he's busy eating pizza and tweeting about how hot Alice from Alice in wonderland is. The one where you get home early with full plans of doing something productive and then you "aren't allowed to".
It's rather selfish and nearsighted of me to think of it this way, but life always seems to throw doldrums into the equation right after a really good weekend. Have you noticed that?
Well, since I'm a slacker and haven't gotten my license yet, I decided to crank some tunes and drive around my neighborhood for some good driving practice. My mood was soaring until I pulled back into my driveway to see if my mom would join me.
Of course, she refused and yelled at me for being a slacker. So instead I just locked the doors, cranked the bass, and cried in my driveway.
Then a friend told me to check out her blog. My sweet, sweet friend has made my day so much better. here is the post that made me smile.
